Which type of turnstile do I need?

How many turnstiles do I need?

The number of turnstiles you need will depend on a variety of factors, such as the size of the area you want to control access to, the number of people who need to pass through the turnstile, and the flow rate or speed at which you want people to be able to pass through.

Are the turnstiles low voltage units?

Yes, all STXtek turnstiles operate on a low voltage DC 24V. Access control systems often operate on DC 12V. The power supply with CE, UL qualified supports input AC 110-240V, output DC 24V / 12V. 

Can I customize the design and function of turnstile?

Yes, STXtek turnstile supports ODM/OEM service, we can customize the material turnstile use to match your space/design. We can put your logo on the glass barrier, you just need to send the logo file to us then based on the turnstile model selected we will recommend placement and size.

How much does a turnstile cost?

The cost of a turnstile can vary depending on various factors such as the type, materials used, features, how many turnstiles are needed. like tripod turnstile, flap barrier, speed gates and full height turnstile and which access control system will be used. In addition to the initial purchase cost, there may also be additional expenses such as installation, maintenance, and repair costs to consider.

STXtek works with global systems or security integrators, if you are an end user, we recommend you ask a system integrator locally to contact us. It will be easier for us and the integrator to discuss the details. About shipping, we often ship with containers by sea. Spare parts by express like FedEx, DHL.

What is the warranty policy of your turnstile?

Controlling the quality of turnstile gates is essential to ensure that they function correctly and provide reliable access control. Our STXtek provide Two-year warranty since the day purchased, life time pre-sales and after-sales support. After warranty, only charge spare parts material cost.

What is the mean time between failure (MTBF) for your turnstiles?

The mean time failure can vary from different turnstiles. Starting from 3 million times for the tripod turnstile and 10 million times for the direct drive speed gates. You can choose the specific turnstile according to the traffic flow and the years it will serve.

What will happen to the turnstiles/gates if there is an emergency?

The setting of the turnstile can decide what happens when it loses power supply or emergency. There are two options: Firstly, programming the turnstile to safe secure. This setting locks the turnstile in case of power outage. The second setting is safe open – that makes the turnstile unlocked if it loses the power supply.
